Abstract

Hazin Lahiji, a prominent poet and pure-hearted mystic of the twelfth century, holds a status that few others have attained. However, by diving into the vast sea of his brilliant words and thoughts, the author aims to uncover the unique gem of his knowledge. This exploration will focus on the mystical states within his poetry, particularly the imagery, and will reveal the relationship between these mystical experiences and the beautiful imagery found in the works of this esteemed poet through thorough research and inquiry. The findings of this research indicate that the poet has placed special emphasis on the state of patience in expressing mystical ranks. By examining and analyzing the mystical states in his poetry, particularly through the lens of imagery—known for its profound meaning, emotional resonance, and connection between language and spirit—this study highlights the significance of these elements in addressing human challenges and their impact on contemporary literature. The poet employs metaphor to articulate his thoughts and feelings, reflecting his sensitive nature. This choice aims to engage the minds of listeners and readers, encouraging them to delve into the deeper meanings hidden within the metaphors. Ultimately, speech and discourse acquire a literary and artistic quality when they do not immediately reveal all the beauty of meaning; instead, they invite engagement and provoke contemplation.
