Guiding humans and other creatures to the right path, which leads to the attainment of the perfection that every creature deserves, is one of the attributes of God Almighty. This is in fact the manifestation of divine lordship in the container of creation. This characteristic is so pervasive that no being in the entire universe is deprived of it. The general guidance of God Almighty is carried out in three ways: first, innate guidance, second, rational guidance, and third, legislative guidance. Sending guidance is one of the branches of the third type of guidance, namely legal guidance. This type of guidance is actually complementary to the other two types of guidance, namely innate and rational guidance. God Almighty has provided the need for legal guidance through the prophets and their successors, peace be upon them. The findings of the research show that the existence of prophets and the need for them are mentioned in the Holy Quran, the Old Testament, and the New Testament. Old Testament and New Testament regarding the authenticity of the Holy Book and the infallibility of the prophets, which are two important elements in moral guidance, are flawed, unlike the Holy Quran. Also, the Abrahamic traditions have differing views on the origin and issuer of moral laws. This article, which is descriptive-analytical in method, seeks to explain, criticize, and comparative study the legislative guidance in Abrahamic religions.
