Maulana is one of the mystic poets who, centuries ago and with his own unique worldview, has applied many of the ideas of psychology known today in his Mathnavi. His mystical view of the world and man contains subtle points that show the accuracy of this mystic in the human soul and mind. When we study the works of Maulana;we see that the same issues that are raised in psychology today;were also raised for Maulana.According to Maulana;self-intolerance is one of the obstacles to self-improvement and achieving mental health. At the same time, he believes that achieving mental health and perfection is voluntary and that one can recognize internal and external weaknesses and weaknesses and by eliminating them; pave the way for mental health and growth; It says that many people do not succeed in knowing themselves and stepping into the stage of self-development and inevitably remain deprived of achieving perfection. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method and drawing conclusions from the stories of the first and third books of the Masnavi, has examined the concept of self-intolerance from a psychological perspective. In the present study, by examining the concept of self-intolerance and comparing it with Rumi’s views and words in the stories of the Masnavi, it can be said that there are many similarities between the theories of psychologists and Rumi’s thoughts in the stories of the Masnavi.
