The verses and narrations have only mentioned the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, the Quran, and the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. The verses of the Quran, within fifteen verses, confirm the books that came before it. The subject of this writing is to see which book or books that preceded it does the Quran confirm? And what is the criterion for this confirmation? The verses confirming the previous books with the two expressions “مابین یدیه” and “لما معکم یا معهم” certainly refer to the book available to the People of the Book, that is, the Jews and the Christians. By examining the views of the Quranic commentators and thinkers, it becomes clear that the Quran has confirmed the existing Torah in general. This article has proven through a descriptive-analytical method that the Quran only confirms the Book of Moses (PBUH) and has never explicitly confirmed the Gospel and the Psalms. On the other hand, according to the verses of the Quran, the Book of Moses (PBUH) has also remained in the current Torah, so the Quran confirms the only Book of Moses that has remained in the current Torah. The analysis of this article in the criterion of confirmation is that any book that has detailed Sharia is reliable, and the only book with this feature is the current Torah. This is why Jesus (PBUH) also confirms only the Torah.
